Report: Newcastle’s ‘unbelievable’ star goes up for sale, putting three clubs on notice.

One player from Newcastle United is out for sale this month, and three clubs are now keeping an eye on his circumstances.

Newcastle is hoping to make some of its players available for sale this month since they are in severe need of money to recruit new players.

According to The Evening Standard, Chelsea, Manchester United, and Arsenal are all interested in Callum Wilson, who has already drawn interest from Atletico Madrid and AC Milan.

A Newcastle man who is “unbelievable” is now available.

Wilson joined Newcastle in the summer of 2020, and if they can get nearly all of the £20 million they paid for him back, they are now willing to let him go.

The 31-year-old, who is one of Newcastle’s two recognized attackers, has at times been “unbelievable” for the team, especially after scoring 18 goals in the Premier League the previous season.

With just 18 months remaining on his contract, it is anticipated that he will depart within the next six months, and Newcastle will make every effort to obtain the highest price for him.

Although it would be preferable if they didn’t sell to one of the three competing teams that Newcastle might face for a European spot this year, the £18 million price tag might be extremely helpful to Newcastle in their efforts to recruit a new player this month.

Newcastle’s roster might be further depleted.

Due to injuries to Joelinton, Joe Willock, and Elliot Anderson, the Magpies are in desperate need of a new midfield player, and Sandro Tonali’s suspension doesn’t expire until August.

Wilson’s loss would be devastating on top of that, and Alexander Isak—who has also battled with fitness concerns throughout his 18 months on Tyneside—would be under a lot of strain.

They may always go for a different market, of course, but it would be challenging to pull off considering how little time may remain in the window by the time Wilson leaves.

With only a few days remaining, Newcastle may find themselves in a precarious situation where they are compelled to overpay. January is already a difficult month to find good value in any case.
