Tottenham is now prepared to agree to a transfer; their softening will enable a January move

Bryan Gil is a target for clubs, as he has been for the majority of January and almost every transfer window since he joined Tottenham.

The winger has been connected to a number of teams in Spain and Fiorentina in Italy; Lazio is now one of those who has renewed their interest in him.

The most recent information comes from Corriere dello Sport, who mention that Gil may be “leaving again” after being first wanted by Maurizio Sarri’s team in the summer.

Under Ange Postecoglou, the 22-year-old is “out of the plans” at Tottenham. It is thought that the team is now “willing to let him go out on loan,” and they may even allow an option to buy with the deal.

They view Gil as a “talent waiting for the right opportunity.” The London team spent €25 million to get Gil at first, but it wasn’t a very profitable move.

According to reports, Sarri “appreciates his technical skills” and was “convinced” that the Tottenham player might be one of his best going forward.

That notion is still in place today, and as Lazio looks to strengthen their offense, there’s hope that a deal may be reached.
