Earlier this month, Tottenham made history by attracting Radu Dragusin, a defender for Genoa, to North London.
Spurs pulled accomplished a significant coup by thwarting Bayern Munich’s attempt at a hijack.
Tottenham is thrilled to have signed Dragusin, who seems to have a bright career ahead of him after defeating one of Europe’s biggest teams.
By enabling right defender Djed Spence to travel in the opposite direction and sending him on loan to Genoa, Tottenham were able to sweeten the deal.
After Leeds United terminated Spence’s loan earlier in January, he moved on to Italy in an effort to restart his career.

Although Spence is known as a right wing defender, on Sunday he will line up for Genoa on the left against Salernitana.
Alberto Gilardino started the 23-year-old right out and he played the entire ninety minutes as Genoa won 2-1.
Genoa fell behind 1-0 early on, but Spence and company made a comeback to win all three points away from home.
Spence had a 6.5 out of 10 rating from Tuttomercatoweb, indicating that he obviously needed to get used to a new experience in Italian football.
They observed that Spence gained confidence throughout the match and gave a respectable performance to aid Genoa in victory.

Spence signed a £20 million contract to join Tottenham from Middlesbrough in 2022, but under Antonio Conte, he hardly played.
After spending time on loan at Rennes, Spence made just five league starts for Leeds before being returned to Tottenham.
Spurs are in desperate need of Spence to go back to his peak so they can increase their appeal on the transfer market and partially recover their investment.
Trying to bring Spence into condition somewhere seems to be the best course of action, as he doesn’t seem to have much of a future under Ange Postecoglou.
This is Spence’s third loan move away from Spurs, so permanent interest needs to develop before the summer transfer window opens. Tottenham really needs this deal to succeed, though.
Spurs won’t get their £20 million back, but they will still need assistance, and a successful stint at Genoa will help them make some money this summer.
