Michael Beale’s Sunderland is offering Jobe Bellingham to Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United.

The Daily Mail, which detailed the lengths Newcastle attempted to persuade Bellingham to relocate to St. James’ Park before to his decision to join Sunderland from Birmingham City, claims this.

What information has been released regarding Underland, Newcastle United, and Joe Bellingham? Let’s examine this.

Newcastle United is repurchasing Jobe Bellingham, a midfielder for Sunderland.

The Daily Mail claims that Newcastle United has been keeping an eye on Jobe Bellingham this season and is interested in buying him from rival Sunderland.

According to the article, Bellingham was being pursued by Newcastle from Birmingham City in the summer of 2023, but he ultimately decided to sign a £1.5 million contract with Sunderland.

The 18-year-old offensive midfielder’s family was informed by Newcastle that he would initially be a member of the youth team.

Bellingham declined the advances made by Newcastle. The young player, who aspired to play for a first-team football squad and picked Sunderland over Real Madrid, is the younger brother of England international midfielder Jude Bellingham.

This season, the midfielder for Sunderland who represents England under-19 has made 24 starts and one substitute appearance in the Championship.

In those contests, Bellingham has contributed one assist and four goals. He has been called a “phenomenal” youngster who “looks so comfortable playing the game, at such a young age” by former Sunderland chairman and striker Niall Quinn.

In my opinion, Newcastle United won’t be able to sign Bellingham, Jobe

I don’t think Newcastle United will be able to sign Jobe Bellingham from Sunderland in the summer of 2024 or during the January transfer window.

I do not believe Sunderland will trade one of their top prospects to Newcastle.

Of course, money talks in football, but Sunderland is unlikely to consider doing business with Newcastle given the interest shown by clubs like Real Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur in the midfield player.

Bellingham might not be too excited about going directly to Newcastle after playing for Sunderland.
