Star defender Micky van de Ven’s anticipated return date has been provided by Paul O Keefe.

The summer signing from Wolfsburg, the Dutchman has been one of Tottenham’s best players.

He had an immediate effect, teaming up with Cristian Romero to form a strong defensive partnership that helped Spurs get off to a fantastic start to the season—winning eight games and drawing two.

But in addition to Spurs losing to Chelsea, the match resulted in long-term injuries for two of their best players, Maddison and van de Ven.

O Keefe revealed some encouraging news yesterday, indicating that the defender has made significant progress toward his recuperation as he begins training individually with the ball on the grass for the first time since his injury. Prior to this, it was believed that he would be out until February.

He continued by even providing a timetable for his comeback. Regarding his anticipated return date, O Keefe responded, “Maybe Burnley FA Cup.”

The game is scheduled for January 3rd against Burnley. This suggests that Van de Ven might make his comeback one month sooner than anticipated. Ange Postecoglou will be very happy about his early availability.
