It was widely known that Tottenham was searching for a new center back throughout the summer, and they eventually signed Micky van de Ven.

With Davinson Sánchez gone, though, a new deal was being pursued, with Galatasaray prepared to allow Victor Nelsson to leave if his €25 million release clause was activated.

Sabah claims Tottenham never offered that sum, obviously thinking it was too much, and instead chose to wait, which is now paying off.

Since the beginning of the season, the Denmark international has expressed his desire to leave for the Premier League and was not particularly pleased with his club’s position during the summer.

Sánchez has displaced him in the pecking order, and he is currently regarded as Okan Buruk’s fourth center-back.

Galatasaray is now “ready to immediately accept a transfer fee of €10 million” for the international player from Denmark, who is “considering leaving in January,” as a result.

To put it briefly, Tottenham should acquire their man and strengthen a position where Ange Postecoglou has been lacking due to a string of injuries and key player suspensions if they make an offer “above this price” of €10 million.
