In the competition to sign former Chelsea prospect Samuel Iling-Junior, Tottenham is the front-runner.

This is in line with an Evening Standard report.

The twenty-year-old Samuel Iling-Junior was raised in Chelsea’s renowned academy as a boy.

The English winger, though, never made an appearance for the Blues first team and left Stamford Bridge in 2020 to complete a transfer to Juventus, the dominant team in Italy.

Although he has played 22 senior games for the Serie A powerhouses in Italy, he is currently being linked to a return to his native country.

Tottenham is considering a former Chelsea player.

According to The Evening Standard, Spurs are eager to sign Iling-Junior from Juventus.

It is explained that the North London club are leading the race for the 20-year-old’s signature.

According to the report, Juventus is willing to cash in on a player who is frantic for more playing time by offering the rising star to sign for £15.5 million.

It wouldn’t be the first time a talented young player from Chelsea’s system went on to achieve success abroad. Could Iling-Junior soon be regarded similarly to Tino Livramento of Newcastle United?

The future is bright for Samuel Iling-Junior.

Iling-Junior may be ready to storm the Premier League, but let’s wait and see.

The talented attacker has developed in Turin thanks to his quickness and cunning. He has competed for England at several age divisions, including the Under-21 division.

Iling-Junior was rumored to be the target of Chelsea, Manchester City, and Newcastle United, according to a March 90min report. Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich were also mentioned as having expressed interest.

The English talent is reportedly being led by Ange Postecoglou’s Spurs, though.

We still don’t really know how ready he is; this is still very much a raw talent.
